Objective and Expected Outcome
This panel seeks to share the project “SALURBAL: Urban Health in Latin America,” a network of researchers from Latin America focused on studying how urban environments and urban policies impact the health of city residents throughout Latin America.
The project’s findings inform policies and interventions to create healthier, more equitable, and sustainable cities worldwide. This panel will not only discuss lessons learned from SALURBAL, but will also discuss the public health, population, urban form, and air quality databases built throughout the project.
