Mexican Biologist with a Master’s in Statistics and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Alberta, Canada. His expertise lies at the intersection of environmental, social, and clinical epidemiology. His work on air pollution includes studying the health impacts of industrial air pollutants and the biological effects of particulate matter. In social epidemiology, he has contributed to evaluating health inequalities across geographic and socio-economic gradients. He has served as an epidemiologist for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta and the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute (WCHRI). Currently, he woks as epidemiologist and data analyst for health research at the Department of Public Health Sciences at Queen’s University. He has 40 peer-reviewed publications.
